Double Breasted Wool Blend Twill Jacket

Runs short and small. Not thrilled with the fabric. Ordered size 10 which fits in every other RL I have. Feels cheap compared to them.

I have been looking for a shorter coat this season and landed on this item. I appreciate this fabric being closer to a true navy than other lauren Ralph Lauren’s coats, which are so deep they appear black. I like the fit of this coat, but I understand others’ complaints of it feeling too short. I’m am 5’5” with a long torso and it hits at the top of my hips. This length works for my needs since I live in CA with temperate weather. My only complaint is the lapel does not stay in place as pictured on the model, it keeps trying to fall forward as if buttoned. I also purchased in the moss, which is a deep muted green.

Classic jacket with a nice weight to it. I am petite and often have a hard time getting jackets that are small enough and this one fits very well!

I read the reviews on this before purchasing, and others had said the same: Scratchy, stiff, and boxy. But I thought, well, wool can be a little scratchy, and sometimes boxy is cute! But no. This jacket really stands away from the body like you're wearing an actual shipping box. And the quality of the material is truly disappointing. I can't really explain it; it's a very rough woven texture but still looked like it would get fuzzy not in a good way. I would expect to find this in a Goodwill bin for $20 and if I had not returned it to Nordstrom, that's exactly where it would have ended up :(

In every way (fabric, fit, sizing) this coat was just ok. It didn’t look great buttoned OR opened. The fabric was not luxurious. Not the forever peacoat I’ve been looking for. Returned.

As it stated, wool, but not the best or soft, nor smooth. Buttons were cheap and plastic. Structure of the coat is fine, but when I put it on, it made me look like I'm straight out of Minecraft world!
