Like wearing a camping tarp
This trench has so much potential. The color is great, the details are beautiful. But the construction is awkward. It's boxy, super starched-- it basically stands up on its own. It feels like wearing a camping tarp. It's also long-- I am 5'6" and I DROWN in the length.

Almost perfect
The jacket is pretty but the material, not so much. It makes sound with every movement due to the amount of polyester used. It is quiet lite and structure wise as shown in the image, not so much. It would have been nice if it was more than 70% cotton. I’m keeping it due to its design( great craftsmanship) and lightness since I already have a heavy trench coat. I wear size 8 but ordered size 6 which fits perfectly. If you have hips or thighs, beware. The end buttons( for me, very last one) might not close. I don’t mind since I rarely fully button my trench coats anyway.

Beautiful but....
This Trench is beautiful. However, it wrinkles just looking at it. It isn't the quality I expected from Ralph Lauren. I am returning it.

Like my trench coat
Not sure why people saying that fabric for this trench coat is tarp like material, mine is for sure good quality fabric for rainy days. Overall look of the trench coat is sleek and stylish , good for jeans look and dress. My only minus a star is the faux leather details. I ve seen modern faux leather that is soft and hard to identify as faux leather, for this trench coat it is not superior quality and obviously faux leather.

Love this Trench
The first time I wore this trench I got many compliments from a range of people of different ages. Over an year later, I still receive so many compliments. I love that I can wear something very simple and it upgrades my whole look. I bought in tan color and love how classic it is. Definitely a staple in my wardrobe. One slight complainant is that my arms have limited range depending if I’m wearing something bulky underneath.
