Crepe Blazer Jacket

I found this amongst the blazers - but it is truly a coat! I saw the beautiful classic look when I viewed it online, but thought it would be a bit shorter...it is nt a blazer - it is a real coat! The sizing is even coat sized - which gives me plenty of room to wear a bulky sweater - or layers under it. The tailoring is perfect - the fit roomy for wearing over a reg blazer or sweater - even a thick sweater! The lines fall perfectly. If I had realized it ran on the larger size and was long enough to really be a coat, I might not have ordered it - but - when it came - it was oh so classy and beautiful. It is for the classic gals look - a bit preppy in its look - but nonetheless, a coat that is truly an RL look! LOVE IT!! Even the sleeves have a button and a band that adds to its total great appearance.

This jacket/coat is a lovely traditional,nicely styled piece and would work well with anything from dress to pants.The only fault I found was the fabric which is rather stiff and so does to fall as well as it might.I think the description "crepe" is misleading. My experience with crepe is that of a much softer cloth.I will keep it as I've taken the tags off and had planned to take on a trip but left at home.I hope to use it because it is of a weight that would work well in fall and spring.To call it a jacket is a bit of a misnomer because of the length which is longer then even "boyfriend " jackets I have.

Runs larger than other R.L. coats in my opinion & that's a good thing. I have a few R.L. wool coats & they run very small in the arms & body. This jacket is blazer weight but it makes it more versatile - even though you wouldn't wear it in the middle of a midwest winter, it's perfect for every other season. Plenty of room for layering. I want more of this jacket in different colors & patterns!
