The fabric is 100% cotton and feels super lightweight and breathable, which makes it perfect for hot weather. I got it in size S and I would say it's true to size and very comfy. The shirt cover -up is actually long enough that you can even wear it on its own at the beach, which I really like. Also love that you can style the pieces separately, like wear the shorts with a simple top or throw the shirt over a swimsuit. We’re planning a trip to the Dominican Republic this summer, so I already know this set is going to get so much wear. It just gives that effortless vacation vibe while still being really comfortable.

It’s lightweight, breathable cotton and perfect for staying cozy on a breezy day. Just keep in mind cotton wrinkles pretty easily, especially around water so it’s hard to keep it looking crisp. The shorts are soft and flattering and I really liked the waistband design at first. The only downside was the elastic in the front that started to curl and feel a bit tight after wearing for a while. That said, they still looked super cute and were comfortable enough to keep wearing. I would wear the shorts on the regular. The pattern is pretty and feminine, but I do wish the colors were a bit more vibrant or tropical to match the beachy vibe, the pattern gives off. While I know this brand typically runs higher in cost and I didn’t personally purchase this set, I did see the retail price and felt it leaned a little bit high for this casual type style. Overall, it’s stylish and comfortable with a few minor drawbacks, but I’d still recommend it for lounging beach or poolside!
