Bullion Jacquard Blazer

Three stars is for sizing only. I am surprised more ladies did not comment on how small this jacket is cut. I bought my usual size small (4-6) and I can barely get my arms in, lol. It's a very nice, quality made jacket and a good deal on sale. The white is now sold out so I cannot get a medium. Definitely size up if you want to be sure. 5 stars for the look and quality!

​As a first-time customer, it has been a long-held aspiration to own an iconic Ralph Lauren navy blazer, and I approached this purchase with high expectations. I purposefully selected the Lauren line over Polo to ensure a more proportional fit for my 5’2” petite frame. This blazer was acquired with the expectation of a structured, premium aesthetic; however, the physical product feels underwhelming. The construction lacks the architectural rigor and internal support necessary for a blazer of this style. The buttons have a very light gold coating when pinned resembles "plastic" rather than metal. ​The bullion detailing and jacquard weave appear simplistic and lack the visual depth or "heft" associated with high-quality tailoring. For a brand that prides itself on an iconic American aesthetic, this specific item feels designed with cost-efficiency as the primary driver rather than craftsmanship. It is a functional piece for sizing purposes, but it fails to deliver the sense of "accessible luxury" that the brand’s marketing suggests. Even for an entry-level tier, the quality-to-cost ratio feels disproportionate.

This is a beautiful, polished blazer that is cotton with a bit of stretch. It feels soft, almost like a knit. Buttons and gold emblem are very striking . This runs a little snug. Although my regular size small fit, it was slightly roomier in the medium and allows for long sleeves or an extra layer . I also tried it on with white tee and jeans which looks fabulous! I don’t care for sleeves that are snug looking and I’m pretty thin but the medium was a better option. I bought both the small and medium and the small is going back.
