How to use: Set and brighten the under eyes with Laura's intentional, precision artistry technique that ensures concealer stays in place, with a silky-smooth, imperceptible texture, creating a softly lit, awakened look under the eyes. After applying concealer, pick up small amount of Secret Brightening Powder with a small flat brush like Secret Brightening Powder Brush. Tap brush on the back of your hand, working the powder into the bristles. Lightly pat the powder under the eyes to set concealer.
Pro tips: Less is more. A sheer amount will set and brighten for all day.

Leaves the under eye smooth and crease free. I used a brush to set it and it lasted all day. It helped set my makeup under the skin eye and it didn’t crease all day… I would recommend using a sponge or brush to apply it lightly and tap excess powder away.

Horrible Deal, Fine Product
In my opinion, this is deceptively advertised as a full sized product, especially at this price point. The size seems intentionally omitted from the product description. I have purchased from this brand before. This feels deceitful, and I am disappointed in Nordstrom and the brand.

Good powder
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice very fine powder to consider if you are looking for this kind of product. I have previously swatched it on my hand and always thought it looked too much, due to the fine particles that are suppose to reflect light, so I never really tried it. I have now tried this product several times, applying in a few different ways. I found out a powder puff is definitely the best way, the final result is better, smoothing out the area and blurring imperfections. The light reflecting particles are not as visible as I thought they would be, I don’t notice them in a negative way. I do find it can be a tad drying, especially when using with not so hydrating products. I would like to see this product with a hydrating factor, such as the ByTerry powder, for example.
It is definitely a good powder that I would recommend a friend to at least try it. I’m not too sure if the performance and overall effect warrant having a second powder just for your eye area, I feel I can get a similar effect from my current powders that I use all over my face. Considering the amount you get for the price you pay, I definitely have high expectations, which I’m not sure if they were fully met.

An ok under eye powder, not LM's best offering
I have the peach shade which works fine for my skin tone (ref: Mac SFF NC37/Armani LS 5.75), better referencing on how to choose the right shade would be ideal and they could benefit from having a banana toned shade.
The powder is very finely milled and does set nicely. A pressing motion when applying gives better results.
The under eyes did look softly blurred and you only need a very small amount. However, it does cling to dry patches and it creases during the day, although it's easily removed.
I don't think it provided any colour correcting properties nor did it really brighten the area - it does have some noticeable shimmer.
Comparing this to my other under eye setting powders (Hourglass, By Terry, Pat Mcgrath) it is okay. It's good enough for everyday use if you don't mind some creasing and some shimmer. However, i would not use for it for anything more important.
Packaging is bulky and the sifter holes are too big so too much product comes out and is wasted as a result.
Considering how famous Laura Mercier is for setting powders, i was underwhelmed by this particular product.
Also, this contains talc and the peach shade at least is not vegan friendly as it contains carmine, if these things matter to you.

Bright eyes
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This setting powder is truly stunning and has quickly become a staple in my makeup routine. It does an amazing job of brightening the under-eye area, making me look more awake and refreshed almost instantly. The finish it gives is soft, smooth, and very clean, without ever looking heavy or cakey on the skin. It blends effortlessly and helps to set concealer beautifully, keeping everything in place throughout the day.

Surprisingly Good!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I say ‘surprisingly good’ because I didn’t expect a powder to sit as nicely as it does under my 61 year-old eyes! I have not used a powder specifically for under eyes before, but this gave very positive results. It is extremely finely milled, much like my favourite Hourglass pressed powders, which is why it works so well. There is no emphasising of lines and the finish is subtle and natural, adding appropriate brightness. I thought I would find a powder application with a brush a bit of a chore, and it certainly doesn’t make it very portable but, it goes on easily and if the finish lasts, then you don’t need to take it out with you anyway. It has a more natural finish than heavy concealers on the delicate under eye area and, although it is designed to be used over concealer, I have been using it alone on top of a light foundation and this seems to work well for me. The colour peach is subtle and is a good match for my neutral toned fair skin.
