Laura Whyyyyyy?
I have been using Laura Mercier for years and loved the primer they discontinued. After reading good reviews I was truly disappointed with the performance of this primer. Drying and didn’t work for me under concealer or foundation. I tried moisturizing, not moisturizing to no avail. No matter what I did, this primer just laid on my face like a sticky mask while my makeup slid off of my face.

Non-oily, non-scented illuminating primer
I loved this primer. I had never heard of it and decided to take a gamble on it. It is true to its claim that it's non-oily and non-scented. It also has staying power, as I tried it out for several hours and my makeup didn't budge. The primer is also illuminating in a subtle way (without too much shine or shimmer). It also makes make-up apply more smoothly. The only downside is that the primer itself does not glide on. You have to use a lot of primer because it tends to stick to the small area of your face you used it on. It won't disperse. It's a small trade off for all its benefits. Plus you get 2 really big tubes for your money.
