the BEST primer
I have combination skin - oily T-zone and dry cheeks, hyperpigmentation and texture issues. This primer smooths and blurs the skin for foundation application. Using this with a setting spray helps keep my makeup last longer throughout the day. It is on the expensive side but a bottle lasts me about 3-4 months and I wear a full face of makeup Monday through Friday for work.

Smooths skin and helps makeup last
I’ve been using this blurring primer most mornings before foundation. It feels silky to apply and instantly smooths out the texture around my nose and cheeks. My foundation goes on more evenly and lasts better through the day, especially in my T-zone. It doesn’t feel heavy, just a smooth base that keeps makeup looking fresher longer. A little goes a long way.

Best primer
The Laura Mercier Pure Canvas Primer is one of the best primers I have ever used. My make up holds all day and my skin looks as good as it does first thing. I have quite large pores and the blurring nature of the product is able to mask these very well. Would recommend.

not for me
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was hopeful that with my second purchase of this item that I would get the results I wanted. For me it didn't work so well. With a bit of time my pores were visible and if I had time I would wash my face and start over.

Works great
