A Beautiful Pallet

When Laura Mercier comes out with a new eyeshadow pallet I get so excited. This eyeshadow pallet consists of beautiful nudes that are very easy to work with. You get your shimmers and mattes which have a buttery texture. I highly recommend. This pallet is from The Parsian collection.

Odd Pigmentation/Muddy Colors

I purchased this palette based on two factors -- it is a Laura Mercier product and the colors looked so stunning in the online photo. When I received my Parisian Nudes in the mail, I was thrilled. After I used it, I was bitterly disappointed. I did not particularly have a problem with the fallout; many eyeshadows have this issue. No, my problem is with the colors themselves. The pigmentation is odd and the colors turn muddy when applied. I have been using eyeshadow for nearly 50 years and consider myself exceptionally skilled at applying eye makeup. Thinking I purchased a bad palette, I purchased it again. I still had the same issue. The colors do not hold their pigmentation and look muddy. It's a shame, too, because they look gorgeous in the palette. I hope others had better luck.

Sadly disappointed again in LM eye products.

Love me some Laura Mercier, but why or why can she not get eye shadows right? These are beautiful colors, the compact is high quality, not pigmentations.... UGH! I always get suckered into these beauties online, but her make-up (foundation and such) are knockouts, but the eyeshadow quality/use just doesn't live up to the beauty of this palette.

Pretty. Just not for me.

Swatched this on my arm in store and liked the mix of colors. They are soft and blend well. Not super pigmented but great for those of use who like more subtle makeup. Unfortunately, the browns and a few other colors have a reddish undertone that when applied to my eyes made me look tired and like I'd been crying. Ended up returning this one.

Love my pallete!

Stunning

I’ve been thinking about purchasing this eyeshadow palette for a while, and although I have more than enough eyeshadows in my collection, this purchase was definitely worth it. I love the colour story in this palette. There’s a good mix of mattes and shimmers, and the colours are extremely wearable. I would say they lean more to the cooler side, which is exactly what I’ve been looking for. Perfect for special occasions or to create an everyday look.
