Magic!
I ordered this fragrance from Laura Mercier, along with a few of her gourmand scents to see what perfume I might like for fall and winter. Honestly, L'Heure Magique was my least favorite at first sniff. The initial scent is fresh and almost citrusy, which I am normally not a fan of. However, within a few minutes it deepens, becoming warmer, richer and muskier while still remaining fresh, romantic, and feminine. I sprayed each scent on paper testers to see which ones I gravitated towards; the gourmand fragrances were too sweet and cloying for me. (I used to be a gourmand fan when I was younger (teens-early 20s), but as I approach my 30s, I've been looking for a grown-up scent that doesn't remind me of my grandmother.) After the initial headiness wore off, L'Heure Magique intrigued me, so I spritzed some on my wrist and found myself sniffing it over and over for the rest of the evening. My husband says it smells "delicious" and I like the fact that the fragrance isn't too overpowering as I work in a fragrance-sensitive workplace.
For spring and summer, I've discovered Hermes' Jour d'Hermes, which is a lovely, sweet and floral scent that I wore at my summer wedding. For fall and winter, I choose this wonderfully complex fragrance from Laura Mercier. Divine!

An expensive dead ringer for VS Amber Romance
Try Victoria's Secret Amber Romance. Less expensive. Same scent!

Elegant and Beautiful
I have worn this fragrance for years, especially during the colder seasons. I love it!! Just in the last week, I have received four compliments on this fragrance, two of them from total strangers. It drives my husband crazy when I wear it. I can't recommend this perfume enough!!

Magical!
I smelled this fragrance on a lady who was much older and it was divine. I was hoping it would smell as beautiful on me and it absolutely does. I find it to be the perfect daytime and nighttime fragrance. A little spritz goes a long way. I always spray it in my hair and the scent lasts until my next shampoo!
It is a clean, classic, powdery scent. I will continue purchasing it.

Spellbinding
Whenever I wear this, people stop and ask what it is...very subtle yet feminine and fresh. I've been wearing "Knowing" by Estee Lauder for years but when I spray this on I feel like a different person. My good friend gave it to me as a gift and I'm forever grateful!

I just purchased this fragrance this evening and I can't stop smelling it - it is feminine, sexy and clean & fresh at the same time. You won't go wrong with this one.

comfort in a bottle
I used to work in retail and would put this perfume on every day when I got to work. It was out of stock and they never got more in, so I could never purchase it. I'm so glad I found it at Nordstrom. This is a scent I can wear everyday and never get tired of. It's not overly sweet and doesn't irritate my sinuses or throat like some scents can. It's just a welcoming scent.
