What it is: A sponge designed to hug the contours of the face and provide an even laydown for flawless application.
What it does: It's made with hygienic Zero Cell Technology to ensure minimal product absorption.
How to use: Prep by using the sponge damp or dry and picking product up from the back of your hand. Use the S-shaped side to apply the product, stippling onto your desired area. Use the top edge or bottom pointed tip for targeted application around the eyes and nose. Wash regularly with soap and water for the most hygienic application.

Disappointed
Obviously a cost cutting measure. Regardless of whether this has a "new" technology it looks like you took a pair of scissors and cut the traditional sponge into 2 pieces. I would much prefer the original sponge and pay a little more. This is not at all like the sophistication I'm accustomed to with Laura Mercier. Hopefully you will bring back the old one before I have to toss what I have from overuse.
This is the 1st time I've ever written a review, but I love the original product so much.

Disappointed
Liked it at first. But, after the first washing, the sponge dries hard. Used it the other day, and the sponge cracked. Into the trash can it went!

Its the old sponge cut in half at twice the price
I’ve been using these for years. Now I order and it’s double the price. And cut in half! Trying to sell the new “s-curve” like it’s a thing and we aren’t supposed to notice it’s just cut in half. If the s-curve was so great why make the sponge half the size - and twice the price? Insulting. We see you Laura Mercier.

Not a fan
I found this sponge very underwhelming - whilst the shape was ergonomic and works in foundation well, I can not see how it is nearly twenty pounds for what it is. I think you are really just paying for the label here and honestly feel that a sponge from a pharmacy or drugstore will be a fraction of the price and just as effective.
