What it is: A duo of the volumizing mascara that targets every single lash for instant lift, length and fanned-out volume.

What it does: The mascara's curved wand pushes up and fans out your lashes for an open-eye effect that lasts up to 24 hours, while the 360 microbristles grab every lash from root to tip, no matter the length, for longer lashes without the clumps. Its gel formula won't weigh on your lashes, leaving them feathery soft without any flaking or smudging.

- Two Full-size Lash Idôle Volumizing Mascara in Black (0.27 oz. each)

How to use: To boost volume, length and curl of eyelashes, begin with a lash primer. Hold the wand of Lash Idôle horizontally near your lashes with the curved side facing upward. Apply the mascara in an upward swiping motion for the top lashes and bottom swiping motion for the bottom lashes. Layer as desired to complete your makeup look.

These results are only with one coat of applying this mascara , I can say it’s pretty obvious, I’ve tried many different mascaras but this is one of the best

Worst Mascara by Lancôme

This is the worst mascara by Lancôme and I am surprised how it has such good reviews. First of all, the tube feels like cheap plastic. I have long lashes and it doesn’t do much just sticks them together. The worst part is washing it off! I lost five eyelashes just from one eye. When you’re trying to take it off it crumbles into pieces and takes your eyelashes off too. Definitely returning and in fact I’m not buying Lancôme anymore. Will try to switch to another brand for mascara.

Warning! Design flaw!!!

This is the third time I have purchased this mascara and the third time this has happened. The inner plug in the tube gets pushed inside and results in way too much mascara on the wand. Now I’ve seen other reviews with the same problem. There is still a lot of product left in the tube. Won’t purchase again until this gets fixed! Love the mascara but way too much money to spend for more than half of the product to be wasted. Super disappointing.

Does not flake or irritate sensitive eyes

I would say this mascara is more lengthening. It does provide volume but not as much as Hypnose Drama. However, the Lash Idole does not flake. It stays put. Also, I have extremely sensitive eyes and this did not irritate my eyes so it’s a keeper. Lancôme mascaras are a bit on the pricey side but, because of their staying power, are worth the extra coins.

I wanted to give 5 stars

I received a sample of this mascara & it was instantly my favorite! I was excited when it was finally in stock in the full size. The bummer is I don’t love it in the full size. I thought maybe it was because I used the Cils primer with it, but then I’ve tried it without & I just don’t think it’s quite as vavoom as the sample. It’s better than definicils, but I will probably go back to Hypnose or Chanel, and its definitely better than drug store mascara! My other thought it that it could have just been the tube I got?
