Laser Cut Flakes Shell

This top is absolutely gorgeous. What I appreciate is the lovely detail on the front, but that the back is plain so it does not provide additional bulk under a jacket. My biggest issue is that there is no lining and that the top is see-through so you will need to wear something underneath like a camisole. I assumed that there would be some lining at least in the chest, but was mistaken. This top is entirely see-through. The lack of lining remains one of my biggest complaints about Akris. Items are frequently unlined, including jackets, which have essentially a useless shoulder lining. Not withstanding this more global complaint, I love this top. Akris also sells a version of this top in navy, but it is not as impactful because the dark navy color makes it difficult to see the intricacies of the detailing. As for the color of this top, I wouldn’t call it a cream or ivory. I would call it an ivory with notes of almost a slight putty color. I usually wear a 10 or 12 top and I only needed an 8 so it does run large.
