Hopful but disappointed
I was so excited to find these flats—they are a perfect color / Mary Jane version of a beloved JCrew Viv flat that I wore to shreds and is no longer available. From a looks standpoint they are awesome.
However, I did a lot of research and review reading regarding comfort — which led me to believe they would be everything I wanted— unfortunately these don’t live up to the Viv. The strap is not adjustable and I can get my full hand with room between my foot and the strap. They also need a lot of breaking in, I can tell that I’m going to get a lot of rubbing along the sides. I’m trying to decide if I take apart this $100+ shoe to make additional holes to improve fit or send back.

strap too big
These shoes look way cuter online than in person. In person the leather looks like plastic. The strap on the shoe is not adjustable- you just pull at it to get your foot in. On my foot it was too big and just sitting up in the air - didn’t like the look of that. Too expensive for shoes that have issues….

classic look
I wear a 41, US 10 this fits perfectly and the nude/tan color compliments so many outfits but doesn’t draw too much attention. A timeless classic look.
