Lantern Maxi Skirt

The lantern shape in this fabric is beautiful. I sized down one size because I wanted it to be less voluminous - it will still give you hips, not accentuated in a bad way, just the nature of the cut which in my opinion is visually interesting but not too editorial for real life. Waistband is elasticized but the fabric itself has no stretch. Front pockets are pitched aggressively forward, almost like kangaroo pockets, but I can see the logic of that and it doesn't bother me - they're on-seam which makes them nearly invisible and they also don't interfere with the drape. The Nile color in real life seems a little darker and maybe slightly more teal? But the best thing about this is the swish - totally addictive. I'm twirling in my living room like a 5 year old!
