Rouge in Love Long-Lasting Lipstick

I love this in Delicate Lace. It is a neutral colour that goes with any makeup colors I'm wearing. It's a soft shade, is very flattering - doesn't "announce" you are wearing lipstick - but at the same time it draws attention to your face. It's one of those colours that is subtle but adds this pearly "glow" to your lips. In order for you to get the long-wear out of it, though, put it on then don't press your lips together for a few minutes, until it dries. Another thing - I was told by a professional makeup artist not to use a lip gloss over it or it is not long-wearing. You won't need one anyway. The other thing I really like about this lipstick is that it doesn't "feather", a problem I have with 90% of lipsticks I've purchased in the past. And you do not need a lipliner with it....unless you want to put one on, but why spend more time getting ready?

Who doesn't wish to believe in everlasting love, especially in spring? Lancome clearly wants you to trust that their Rouge in Love Spring 2014 French Ballerine lipstick will endure (at least for six hours), but alas not so in the case of Peche Passion, a Jolis Matins lipstick for day. This is not long-wear lip color even when worn over Le Crayon in Coral, a pencil that will, of course, deepen tint even as it defines. Like a ripe peach, this limited-edition treat is warm, moist, and radiant, but the color is as evanescent as your favorite romantic pas de deux. Feather-light? Check. And like a feather, it will fly away, leaving just the memory of great expectations and amour toujours.
