Rénergie Lift Makeup SPF 20

I'm a woman in her sixties whose face is like a roadmap of her life. I have acne scars, other scars, bumps, red spots, age spots and plenty of wrinkles. I have a big drawer full of makeup, and I am now going to either give it away or throw it away. Renergie blends over my face like a layer of satin glass. It is amazingly light for the coverage it gives, and it doesn't settle into areas where wrinkles are worst. I can finally go into the sunlight with confidence. And Renergie actually stays on, mellowing slightly in the evening. I not only feel prettier, I have received a number of compliments about my "glow." I don't use anything else but this base. It's like a Face Smoothie for older women!

My screen-name may be younglookinglady, (and usually am!) but not when I use this foundation. It dries out my skin and makes me look tired. It was also very difficult to find the right color, but even once I did, the foundation seemed to highlight every flaw instead of cover it. I tried it because of the great reviews and because I was looking for a more matte foundation. I am still looking, but in the meantime, I prefer the Photogenic Lumessence, which gives my skin a lovely natural looking glow. I wish I knew why this didn't work for me. I have yellow undertones and got porcelain 35. Maybe it was the wrong color after all, but the texture of the foundation still dried out my skin, and it didn't provide much coverage.
