Effacernes Waterproof Protective Undereye Concealer

Most use this for concealer, I use 2 pea sizes on a complexion brush and do my entire face. No weird lines or heavy coverage!! The anti aging properties are worth the price of admission as this ingredient deck is very strict. I own a skincare company called perfect complexion where I am a compounding chemist,. For me to write a review for another line is unheard of,. though I don't compound makeup only anti aging, but the same thing I put in serums and proteins is found in Lancome pigment line. It just goes on so smooth,. barely a few dots will cover your entire face and give you full protection and last until you wash. Safe for all skin types, .it's not claiming noncomedogenic but it IS!!!!!!!

I've tried other concealers but they always look dry or cakey by the end of the day. This isn't so with the Lancôme Effacernes concealer. It has a wonderful coverage that is good as new even at the end of the day. I've been using Lancôme since I was 18 and I have to say that this product is the best. I wouldn't use anything else.

I have never really found a concealer I like (liked Perscriptives Camo in my more youthful days). I've tried them all, Laura Mercier, BB, etc. This concealer completely covers without drying in the lines or looking cakey. I apply with a brush, then tap out with my fingers, beautiful...and an extra bonus it's waterproof, although I have not tested this component in the pool, but in 110 degree dry heat, it stays. I am a MAC NW20/Lancome Clair 20, purchased the Clair 2 in this concealer. Will purchase again!

I recently bought this because I was looking for a new concealer that would go on smoothly, not accentuate fine lines, and last all day. I've used it several times and it seems to fit the bill on all counts. It was a bit of a guess as far as what shade to select online, never having used it before, but I have very fair skin with a lot of pink tones and the ivory shade seems perfect...it has enough yellow in it to tone down any redness but isn't too light.

I’ll refrain from calling Effacernes Waterproof a Holy Grain product only because that is an ubiquitous label on the Internet. I am a makeup addict since my long gone teens. I try any product rated game changing. I used this concealer years ago, put it aside for newer, pricier concealers promising perfection.( Yes, you, YSL , Dior, etc.) Nothing really lived up to it’s hype. Much money was frittered away in the concealer quest. Then, at the gym last month, after showering , a 40-ish woman stood alongside me at the large mirror applying concealer over her freshly washed face. She dotted her product under her eyes . The results were impressive, she looked so refreshed. .Of course I asked her what concealer she’d applied and was shocked when she dragged her Lancôme tube from her gym bag. It was the same one I’d used eons ago and discarded for the newest flavors of the month. She said her tube lasts forever, she’s used it daily for 6 months! I looked at her up close. No telltale chalkiness, seeping into creases, or off color. So, I went to my go to makeup heaven , Nordstrom’s, to order. They we’re out, it’s that popular. But when it arrived, it was well worth the wait. I always wore foundation before. With this magic under my eyes, I can do with just my loose powder , also by Lancôme ,which has a very subtle glow. Still do foundation for some things, but this concealer is a neat timesaver. I purchased the 110, Ivoire, which really does the job for me. It’s what the woman at the gym used too, though she was brunette. I am red headed wi fair skin. I doubt I’ll be tempted to experiment with other concealers, given the flawless coverage this gives. I hope this helps someone choose this lovely product.
