Great Lather, yet soothing
I recently switched to a cleanser for dry or sensitive skin, even though my skin has always been very oily. I found that the cleansers for oily skin dried out my skin so much that it actually produced more oil to compensate! I have rosacea, and my skin sometimes feels "sore", but this cleanser soothes my skin. This Lancome cleanser is soft and feels fabulous, and it even cleans off my water proof mascara thoroughly! I tend to always use more product than necessary, and with this cleanser, just use about a quarter size dollop for your whole face, neck and shoulders. I put mine on a Shiseido cleansing brush, or I use it with my Clarisonic brush sometimes. It is soft, rich, lightly fragranced, and hasn't burned my eyes. If you like a cleanser that foams vs a milky or oily or creamy one, this is for you. It comes out of the tube creamy, but it does actually lather up nicely. I love it!

not very good
I don't believe this face wash is good for sensitive or dry skin at all. My skin has dried out so much from using it and I get a burning/hot feeling after I use it, I may be allergic. I have to moisturize twice in a row in order to counteract the dryness after I wash as well. I am not one to return products if I have used some or I would return it but I will never use Crème Mousse Confort' Creamy Foaming Cleanser again after the bottle is gone.

What did they do to this cleanser?
I have been using this product for years and have never had a problem. But I recently purchased it on Nordstrom.com and was unpleasantly surprised. Instead of the usual creamy texture, it came out of the tube in a hard compact string. It did not dissolve easily and I found myself unsuccessfully trying to make lather of the stiff clumps. Who needs that? I returned it to the Nordstrom store (over an hour out of my day) assuming I had received old stock. The store replaced it without a problem. Unfortunately the new tube is exactly the same. What else can I think except this is what is currently being sold as Creme Mousse Confort? Unless Lancome and/or Nordstrom has an explanation and gives me a tube of the "good stuff" I would recommend not buying this. It doesn't deserve even two stars, but I gave it out of memory of the good old days.

Soothing but doesn’t clean real well
It’s moisturizing and smells nice. Doesn’t take much to give a good lather. However, when I use toner on cotton after, I see all the makeup or dirt still there.

Better than expected
I did not realize how dry my skin must have been - one use of this and my skin felt so soft and wonderful. A little goes a long way, so the tube should last a long time. Not too foamy and the smell is wonderful.

I have dry/sensitive skin and this cleanser is perfect. My skin has improved using it (I use a clarisonic with this). Love it!
