What it is: A buildable-volume mascara that increases lash volume up to six times while providing 16-hour waterproof wear.

What it does: Barely there lashes are no match for the patented POWERFULL™ brush that intensifies lashes from root to tip with custom volume you can control. The exclusive SoftShield™ waterproof formula, enriched with Vitamin B5, wraps and seals lashes one luxurious layer at a time without smearing, smudging or clumping. Your lashes are left soft and supple.

How to use: Place the wand at the root of your lashes and blend through. Layer mascara on the outer corner lashes with the tip to lift the eye. Apply to lower lashes with the tip of the wand. Blend vertically using the tip to distribute the product.

Truly waterproof!

I was distraught when YSL stopped making my favorite waterproof mascara. I tried everything from the very expensive to drugstore brands. In the Florida humidity everything flaked or smudged! This is the only one that stays put all day! The only drawback is that it clumps up a bit. Maybe that's because I apply it in a heavily air-conditioned environment. However, I have found a solution that doesn't affect the hold at all. I add about 6 drops of sterling saline eye drops, shake and that's it! I'm left once again with a smooth mascara that's relatively clump free. Another thing, one coat and you can get a natural look. Layer it for more a more dramatic effect. I even workout outside with this mascara and it stays put. Love it!

can't wear it

I was really looking forward to wearing it, because so many brands tend to smear a little after a few hours. My natural lashes are somewhat long, and the top lashes can smudge around my eyes. I wanted a mascara that I could trust not to smudge around my eyes. I liked how it went on. It didn't go on too heavily at once, and I was able to build up coverage nicely. That part I liked a lot. However, I couldn't wear it. There is something in this product that really bothers my eyes. I tried it for a week to make sure it was the mascara, and it was. My eyes burned a little and the whites of my eyes became reddish. Unfortunately, it has to go in the trash.

Best Stayproof Mascara

I have thin, straight Asian eyelashes and have tried all types of mascara (Diorshow, YSL, and a ton of Lancome varietals). I keep coming back to this one. This formula does not clump and importantly, does not give me raccoon eyes by the end of the day. I can workout and sweat with it on, and there is no budging! It comes off beautifully with my Shu oil cleanser. It doesn't give you a false lash look,but with 2 coats, gives you a lovely thick curled lash great for daily wear.

best waterproof mascara!!

I have been using Lancome hynose waterproof mascara for years and although sometimes I try other brands,I still think this is the best waterproof one.No gimmicks but it stays on all day and doesn't smudge.

Good waterproof mascara

Mascara is the essential makeup item for me. Without it, my eyes disappear with my blonde (and grey) eyelashes. I use 'Hypnôse' Waterproof on my upper lashes and 'Définicils Waterproof' on the lower lashes. 'Hypnôse' truly is waterproof through long days and through teary occasions. It's nice to have a brown waterproof mascara since I find black too harsh for my coloring. It creates a well-defined, visible eyelash without screaming make-up. Like all mascaras I have tried, however, it is difficult to keep the product from clumping on the brush after the first week or two of use.

Tried and True

I haven’t found another waterproof mascara that holds without flaking to this day. I get massive transfer from other mascaras and this one is the only one that doesn’t transfer or flake. It builds well and makes my long blond lashes stand out every time.
