Awesome Effective Serum

As expected, Lancome never disappoints. I've used Lancome Genifique for many years and my skin looks fabulous. This new Ultimate version seems to be more effective for brightening and smoothing the skin. I have only been using it for a couple of weeks so time will tell. As of today, I would definitely buy it again and do recommend it!!

Will Not Purchase Again

I have used Estee Lauder for as long as I can remember. I love the Advanced Night Repair line, which I use morning and night. I will definitely be staying with that. A friend recommended this to me, but I am not a fan of it after using it for thirty days. My skin felt no different and did not feel soft or moisturized. My skin typically glows after my skincare routine, but not with this. I am sure it is the perfect product for some, just not for me. For reference, I am 53, have minimal fine lines around my eyes, and no wrinkles. My skin type is normal.

Ouch!!

I had been using this for years, thinking it was helping. Recently, they changed the formula from Advanced, to now calling it Ultimate. This new formula caused my skin to become puffy, irritated, dry, flaky and painful. It took WEEKS to repair the damage! So immediately, I discontinued using this. I thought it was the new formula that caused the issue.. However, now that i have stopped using this entirely, my skin is better than ever! Not only has my skin healed, but it is so much healthier than it ever was while using this, the new or old formula. All i use now is aloe vera and a basic, dermatology recommended lotion i can find at the grocery store. My skin is so much better! My pores are smaller, my skin tone has evened out and become so smooth, now that i don’t use this serum at all. I truly believe this serum has been making my skin unhealthier this entire time. I do not recommend spending any money on this product. It does nothing, and it feels like it contributes to unhealthy skin. I can’t believe i have wasted $90 a month, for YEARS, only to have a new formula change to show me, that this was never helping. I guess you live, you learn..
