Hypnôse Drama Instant Full Volume Waterproof Mascara

I had high hopes for this mascara, having been unable to find a truly waterproof mascara since Cover Girl took Marathon Mascara off the market. This mascara worked well for lengthening and thickening my lashes... for about 1 week. After that, the entire bottle dried up and flaked, leaving subsequent applications gloppy and clumpy. Even when it was new, it would flake toward the end of the day, like a cheap OTC mascara. Maybe this bottle was a fluke, but I hesitate to try another Lancome mascara again. How I wish Cover Girl would bring Marathon Mascara back again...

Listen up!! This mascara it AHHHHHMAZZZING! It beefs up your lashes with one or two coats! Going out on the town? Honey add another 2 coats and watch what happens!! Two words... GOR....GEOUS!!!!! I put some on my friend that has ZERO AND I MEAN ZERO lashes.. They magically appeared!! She fell in lovvv with this stuff... I said.. see I told you.. The bomb.com.net.org. Go get it!!!

I LOVE the mascara, itself! It gives great coverage, doesn't flake, and actually stays on for a couple days, even if you use a good eye makeup remover. I needed a waterproof, living in Texas, where it is so often hot and humid. I also wear eye glasses, so I always sweat underneath them and a waterproof is important to me. Also have sensitive eyes, and this didn't bother them, in the slightest. BUT... the BRUSH IS TERRIBLE. Its got this double-wave, and is nearly impossible to master. I'd have to keep a q-tip at the ready to get smears, and do the mascara before I did my shadow, since I would always have to do clean-up after application. And I'm nearly 40, its not like I just started using mascara... I tried it for 3 weeks before giving in and going to the local Nordy's and exchanging it for the Black Carat, which is what I typically use, but I have to use the CILS BOOSTER XL with it. But since the Black Carat has the simple, single curve, which I've never had a problem with, its worth it to me to go through the extra step and expense of the Booster. If you can master the brush, I applaud you! And I would love for you to write a review, explaining it. I'd be more than happy to buy this product again if I could get a "handle" on the brush, as it were. GOOD LUCK! Like I say, its a terrific mascara, and I wish Black Carat came in a waterproof. For that matter, I wish all of the Lancome mascaras did. I also love Hypnose, but there's no waterproof for that one either.
