Excellent shoe, but not for sub-tropical climates.
This is definitely a 5 star shoe. That said, I was looking for a double duty shoe to wear semi-dressy with white jeans or a skirt, endure a lot of walking in a sub-tropical climate, and be comfortable as well. My concern after wearing them for a while, was the shoe would become very warm creating sweaty feet due to the suede nubuck. Other than that, these are a classy and very comfortable shoe.

Best to try on in store
These are so cute and I was disappointed in the fit. The stiching around that attaches the woven brown leather to the upper was uncomfortable and rubbed my toes. Couldn’t get the shoe off fast enough!

Well made, handsome w extra detailing
Beautifully made shoe with extra detailing. I purchased the version in black but see that the tan is also very attractive. For the two previous pairs of L'Amour des Pieds I purchased, I found that they ran large and bought a half size and whole size smaller but this shoe seemed to run true to size so returned the 6.5 and find that the 7 fits just fine. Note that the shoe has a chemical oder out of the box - which I am trusting will dissipate.

Great flat
Cute shoe but the rattan area was also in the inside. I thought for all day wear the rattan would eventually be felt. It was also 1/2 size too small

Pillow for your feet shoe
This is the second pair of this same shoe I have purchased. First one was in the tan color in April and now the black. For me this shoe is like slipping on your old favorite five year old shoe, wearing all day long and not having your feet hurt. The shoe holds it shape well. has good arch support and I always get compliments on it.

Fabulous shoe
This is the second pair of L'Amour des Pieds shoes I have purchased and I love this brand. It gives great arch support with great style. I purchased this style in black and they are so versatile. They are super comfortable as always and work for many occasions. The tan trim sets them apart from all the other white soled shoes so popular this season. I happen to get caught in a rain storm wearing them and no damage was done. Worth the money for sure.
