Design issue!
This shoe would have gotten 5 stars except that there is an irritating elastic piece sewn under the strap across the top of the toes. While trying the shoes on and walking g on the carpet, the stitching and elastic rubbed my foot terribly. The straps have Velcro closures and that should be enough. I had to return the shoes but definitely would have kept them if not for the elastic and extra stitching.
