Casimiro Sandal

I have sensitive feet, that blister easily and if walking distances am comfortable with a little height to a flatter shoe. This is a less expensive feel to a Mephisto which I also own. It has a cushioned foot bed, the straps are secure and non abrasive, and the red suede is luscious. They don’t have an orthopedic look, but they do have the comfort.

In almost all shoes, I wear an 8. I wear a 7 in Tevas, and that's the size I ended up keeping in this style. Runs wide and long. The back of the ankle strap seems designed to accommodate those with wider heels and sturdier ankles than mine, but the buckle helps. However, if you have a narrow heel and do not like the look of a baggy ankle strap (tightening the buckle does not pull the back of the strap forward enough) my advice is to avoid this style.

L'Amour des Pieds shoes are beautifully made with high-end materials. The styling of the Casimiro Sandal is lovely. These shoes are a "medium" width. I found them to be too wide for my "thin" feet. (Not available in a narrow width.) I have very high arches & the Casimiro provided excellent arch support & there was lots of cushioning throughout the shoes. I normally wear size 7 -- in this shoe a 7-1/2 was best fit in length. I've tried several different styles in this brand of shoes but have never found a proper fit; always either too wide or too narrow. I suggest trying several different sizes before purchase.

Perfect fit. I always wear a 6.5 and these were spot on with enough room in front to accommodate my wide foot. I ordered the black suede and love it. The heel height and platform are just enough to give my 5 feet a bit of lift without being too high. Good traction on the sole. They are extremely lightweight. Best of all, they have great arch support and a memory foam footbed.

I ordered my regular US 9 and the 9.5, and kept the size 9. I have a narrow foot and the shoe is slightly wide on my foot, but still works. The shoe is very comfortable with a 1 1/2 heel and 1 inch platform. The navy suede is a nice color and I love the cushioned foot bed and arch support. I will likely order in other colors.

I am unsure if I will keep the sandals. The footbed feels nice but I am worried about how long they will last. I sink into the footbed a bit and am wondering will I sink in further after a few months of wear? The ankle strap fits lower than other sandals I have and gapes a little at the sides. If I tighten the strap it is snug in the front. The heel feels narrow. I feel the sides of the footbed. The arch support and they style itself are great though. I bought regular width and these fit me well width wise considering my feet are not wide enough to buy wide shoes but sometimes are too wide for regular width shoes. I wish the leather version was available in my size. I’m worried the suede will not hold up.
