Amadour Platform Sandal (Women)

These shoes are a wonderful find! A former runner my feet have taken a lot of punishment over the years. Now I'm over 70 and still like to have a funky fashionable look and really comfortable feet. These are great shoes that can dress up an outfit and also walk the length of an airport. I have three pairs of these shoes in the colors soft gray, black and a really beautiful red. I do not feel comfortable in high heels (wish I did) but this great little style hits the mark. They are supportive, instantly comfortable and look stylish on the foot. And, they feel stable, an important feature after both hip and knee replacement. I usually wear a 6-1/2 and found these true to size.

These are the most comfortable and versatile shoes I own. Even though they have a high profile they are comfortable to wear - no break-in period. I am in my 60's and cannot wear heels or wedges anymore. However, these sandals give me the stability that I need to wear a higher shoe. Yes, they are expensive but I highly recommend them. I also have them in Navy blue with a white wedge.

My first pair of L'Amour Des Pieds. I ordered my usual size, 8M, and they fit perfectly. The footbed is very cushiony with a padded instep. The width allows enough space to wiggle your toes, without looking too wide or clunky. The Velcro ankle strap is handy. I love the blue and white combo as a classic summer design. The only negative (not a problem for me) is that the shoes arrived with a strong chemical odor, like shoe polish or shoe dye. I expect that the odor will dissipate with time once the shoes have been out of their plastic bags for a while. I'm glad I bought these shoes at full price because I noticed today that my shoe size is no longer available if I had waited for a sale price. I really recommend these attractive, comfortable shoes.

I usually wear a 6.5 in a closed toe/heel shoes, which I consider these to be. After wearing them around he house for days I decided to order a 7. My right foot fit perfectly but my left was too tight. A common issue for me in shoes other than sandals. I love these so much I chose to add a toe pad to give my right shoe a tighter fit. They have a comfortable foot bed,with a great arch support . My feet are extra sensitive which makes finding a shoe I can wear all day a challenge. Also love the height I get from these, I'm only 5' tall!

I put them as soon as they arrived and did not take them off until bedtime. So comfortable and so attractive, I am so delighted and plan too buy more of them. The wide Velcro straps are easy to use , the arch support is great and the way the way the inside front of the shoes curves around the bunion area is perfect for my feet. Please make more Wide width shoes!
