Laine Boyfriend Denim Cutoff Shorts

I got these on the Unpublished website as Nordstrom site is terrible. They looked great when I first opened, not too short, fabric slightly stretchy, color good. I normally wear Rag and Bone but the prices are out of control. The fit is really bad. I normally take a 27 in every denim brand. I sized up in these because I wanted them to fit as described, loose, lower on hips. The waist is ridiculously small and these are basically high rise because they won’t go any lower. I’m 5’5”, 115 lbs, built with small hips. I’m keeping them but probably won’t order anything again unless they change the fit. Seems to be a common complaint with this brand unfortunately.
