Very soft and luxrious
I initially purchased a XL just to have the room, but the fit was too loose. I ordered a large and the fit was still comfy but more tailored . I love this material, not a fan of the silk side seam stripe, but as the other reviewer stated it is not that notable. I paid $199.99 for mine, and now they have been further reduced. This is a great buy; the pants are versatile, wear them in the day for a casual event and dress them up at night for a more stately event. I purchased them in mind for my upcoming trip to Hilton head SC in November. Great color and comfort and material. Oh! love the side seam pockets.

Comfortable
I bought the camel pants and they fit so well I went back and ordered the cocoa. I am between a Med and Large in Lafayette pants and the Med fit perfect. They are part wool but the fabric is comfortable. There is a narrow matching stripe down each leg - it’s not very noticeable.
