Thompson Jeans

I ordered these jeans hoping that " curvy fit jeans" meant they were fuller cut through the thighs. I looked everywhere in the description of these jeans and could not find a definition as to what was meant by "curvy fit" jeans. They almost made the cut. They are comfortable and well made. However. They were tight through the thighs and thus were sent back. Nice jeans for somebody who does not have "generous" thighs.

These Lafayette jeans come in several colors. I purchased the gray tone stretch jeans which are a bit high waisted. I needed a basic jeans that was not denim or black. They were long so I had the length altered. I have loss some weight and now I will need to alter them again, at the waist this time. I still use them around the house but are not on my favorite list.

I usually wear NYDJ when I want to wear a casual black jean/pant. A Nordstrom personal stylist suggested that I try Lafayette, so I ordered these pants. They run true to size, but I think the next time I will look for a style that isn't labeled "curvy," since that seems to mean that they don't fit the rear end very snugly, and the legs are sometimes looser than I like. Otherwise, a nice pant, and I will try another style from this brand.

The inseam of this rendition of the jean is 32". I like them so much I bought a second pair. The size 10 is a perfect fit for my 30-31" waist and a bit relaxed at my 41-42" low hip. They are great for hourglass figures because they don't fall off the waist like NYDJ, (I have never found a pair of those that fit for that reason).
