Lada Wool Blend Sweater

Looks great, and is warm. But shrank beyond normal expectations even when I followed the washing instructions, literally shrank I’d say at least 10-15% easily. Now I’m giving it to a friend that is smaller than me. Sadly this is poorly constructed while the design is brilliant. Jackets however are great but I’ve found t-shirts and now sweaters run small and that’s before the wash, so plan accordingly is my advice at this price point, that should not happen.

I've had mine for a few months and have gotten to wear it a few times. It's been everything I've ever wanted in a wool sweater; warm, hefty, soft, and cozy. + It feels solid. I'm tempted to describe it as "heavy", but you really don't feel any kind if weight when wearing it; it's just closer to feeling like a blanket than a shirt, and this is a good thing + The wool is soft. It's not as soft as fine merino or alpacca or rabbit fur, but it's far from a scratchy old blanket or shirt. I'd say it's closest to these soft, cable-knit cotton blankets my grandparents have. I found no irritation with it against my skin. + It's warm! I first wore it over a t shirt and under my Greenland No. 1 Special Edition (just G-1000, no insulation) on a brisk 15°F day. It kept me comfortably warm on my walk. + It looks really nice, nice enough to wear with more proper business clothes. - There isn't much to complain about, besides the depth of the pocket; it's a little shallow (my iPhone 7 sticks out a little) and the button can be a little hard to get open at first. Overall, it's a great sweater, and a go-to for when I'm trying to beat a brisk winter day.
