Lace Trim Pleated Linen Shell Top

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought this would be more white but it is a dull ivory that was not flattering on me. I returned it. I took a M in this and I am usually a S but I think this style lends itself to a little looser fit. It's a boxy fit but not too cropped and the eyelet edging is really nice.

I love this top. I have only tried it on at this point. It is super cut. The cut is a little loose without swinging and while it is a shorter top it is long enough that it will keep your belly covered. You can dress it up or down so it is going to be a great summer go to for me. Especially if they actually get the color I want back in stock. I ordered an XL, my normal size, in the cocoa.Then decided I needed a white one too. The XL arrived but was a little tight across the chest and back so I sized up in the white. The larger size was a good fit. So I went back to order the larger size in the cocoa, the color I REALLY wanted and they were ALL gone. I did the “notify me” thing. When I got the email alert and went to purchase they had not been restocked. That was extremely disappointing. Couldn’t figure out why I was notified if it wasn’t back in stock. Please get the XXL in cocoa back in stock so I can return to being a happy Madewell shopper.
