La Prairie's exclusive Cellular Complex infuses skin with nutrients beneficial for the skin. The foundation offers buildable, blendable coverage for a matte-yet-luminous, fresh look all day long. Nestled in a sleek cobalt blue and chrome compact, it features two mirrors—one for magnifying and one regular.
How to use: For optimal results, apply with a powder foundation brush. You can also apply with the included puff. Apply starting at the forehead and work over the bridge of the nose, over each cheek and finish with the chin. Blend around the hairline and down to the nose, avoiding your brows. Continue to blend around the mouth, around the jawline and down the neck for seamless coverage.

Best Powder Foundation for Oily Skin
I'm a foundation aficionado and must say this is the best powder foundation I have tried. The best application method for me is to use a densely packed soft synthetic powder brush, dab it in the pan to pick up product, and then roll it onto my skin. It glides on like a 2 in 1 product (liquid foundation + loose powder) and I no longer need both. Coverage is surprisingly high without the need for concealer on some of my blemishes. It lasts over 10 hours for me with minimal shine peeking through at the end of the day. I chose a lighter highlighting shade for the middle of my face and a color match shade for the perimeter of my face. Lastly, I add a bit of bronzer all over. The combo of the three shades gives my skin more dimension. Love this product, and just hit pan in both shades and plan to repurchase!!

Disappointed
I love La Prairie and can most of the time stomach the price for the products I buy because I like the products and they are made in Switzerland. When I received this powder I was hugely disappointed to find it was made in the USA for a Swiss price. The powder gives a light coverage and I would say I cannot tell that it provides any benefits other than a powder coverage. The last powder I purchased was La Mer loose powder and I would rate it higher.

Best powder foundation money can buy but....
This is one of the best powder foundations I have used. It does not stick to dry patches on my skin and is perfect for oily skin and hot summer. However, it immediately oxidized on my skin. I tried it over La Prairie compact foundation and over my sunscreen, and it immediately oxidized. Also, it enhances my pores and skin texture like any other powder foundation. It does not control oil but I am impressed by its coverage without looking cakey and how long lasting this is. I wish La Prairie came out with a wider shade range. This powder foundation is super expensive but with the luxury brand name and skin care ingredients, that is something expected.

Oh La Prairie -
I used the powder foundation between 2011-2017 until it changed. Now it's scented to the point I had to wash my face. For $230 smackers this makeup should have made me very happy. Booooo. My old color was was Rose Beige and none of these shades are close! Darn!

Best foundation on the market!
This is by far the very best foundation out there. I’ve tried so many upscale brands of foundation and have yet to find anything as good. Ordered the Pure Ivory and it is perfect for fair skin with neutral undertones. It lasts a long time even for everyday use with full coverage. Pricey yes, definitely worth it! Thank you La Prairie and Nordstrom’s.

Can be moisturized
I've been using liquid foundation for over 10 years now. Because the powder foundation is thick and dries out. But this foundation gives a natural finish and I think it is more moisturizing than liquid. I think this foundation is special. It covers my pores and makes my skin look like it's clean from the start.
