La Patisserie Bake Shop Playset

The Wooden La Patisserie Bakery is cute, but it's so low to the ground that it needs to be elevated for my three-year-old to be able to play with it. I wish it were taller. I was really disappointed when I got it because of its height. The mixer and accessories are adorable, however, and the look of the bakery is appealing.

We got this for our 6 year old. She loves it but for the price and brand that this is the sketch pad is coming loose after a day of use and there is a massive amount of glue everywhere that is from over application. It also didn't come with any directions on where the magnets are supposed to go or anything else.

My son really liked it and enjoys playing with it. The card reader falls all the time while playing, that is the only thing annoys us. Otherwise perfect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have three girls, who are 7, 5, and 3. All three of them loved playing with the bake shop. So much so that they fought each other on who was the baker next. I initially showed them what each item was and what they could do. One thing my 3yo loved to do was give me the order sheet so I could pick out what kind of cupcake I wanted. The majority of the items including the main bake shop itself is wooden, cloth with stuffing, some are felt and a plastic bag for specific bakery items. The plastic pastry bag is pretty small so even the rolls are a tight fit in there. I feel like that's pretty much useless. The whisks for the mixing bowl are hard to take out for my girls. It's pretty snug so they ask for my help to switch them out. There is a cardboard takeout box that my girls already got one side unglued so it doesn't stick as a box now. A typical casualty. Besides the cardboard box everything else is pretty sturdy and should be able to withstand a typical play time. Overall, they love playing with it and that's all I ask for.

The payment terminal is such an amazing touch and something the kids are very much familiar with these days in similar shops. The removable dough hook/whisk for the mixer makes the whole "baking" process so much more realistic. Loved the customization options and all the fun accessories! This is a such a higher quality product as well compared to other pretend play kits available. Can't compliment this set enough!
