Can't stop looking at my skin
Let me start by saying that I have Rosacea and have spend several thousands of dollars on products that have only resulted in frustration....until now that is. I used to use the La Mer treatment foundation even though I wasn't 100% happy with the results. I liked the coverage, but the consistency was thick and it wore off quickly. While at my local La Mer counter inquiring about the new formulation release, the consultant talked me into trying the Reparative Skin Tint. I was extremely hesitant and most products with sunscreen cause a rosacea flare up. I purchased it after being amazed at how smooth and illuminated my skin looked. I have been using it for almost 3 weeks now and I can't believe how lovely my skin looks. I can't remember the last time I received a compliment on how my skin looks. The best part is that this product has also helped with my redness. The redness on my cheeks and nose has diminished substantially. so much so that I no longer need to conceal in those places. If you can get over the price, I would definitely recommend this product for those with sensitive skin. I only use a pea size amount and that's enough to cover my face nicely.

Horrible
I used to use this product before it was discontinued and reformulated. I used to love, love, love it. I used it for years. It was wonderful. The texture was silky, and almost like a very light liquid and it was extremely sheer which I loved. It used to have SPF 18. It was called "fluid" for a reason--it slid on the skin beautifully, and absorbed into the skin and you could NOT even feel you had it on, nor could you see it at all. When I put it on I felt like I looked 10 years younger. It used to cost 70 dollars, but it was so worth it I never even thought twice about spending the money on it.
Well...when this new version came out, I was ecstatic. I ran straight to Nordstrom to pick it up. Let me say it is absolutely NOTHING like the previous version. This new version is thick like foundation, has NO slip (it does not glide on), and feels and looks like thick cheap foundation. It goes on streaky, does not absorb into the skin at all, and just looks awful. It settles into fine lines and I swear I feel like it makes me look even older than I am. And now it costs 95 dollars.
They upped the SPF to 30, which should be a good thing, but this formula is so horrible I wouldn't even pay 10 dollars for it. I returned it immediately. I hate when companies mess with a good thing. They had perfection and now they have a total inferior product.
A good tinted moisturizer should not been seen on the skin. That is the whole point--it's not foundation. This was very disappointing. If you never tried the previous version then you don't know what I'm talking about. Anyone who loved the old version, you just have to try it for yourself and decide if it's for you.

too thick compared to original formula
I agree with the first review about the reformulated tint. This is way to thick and hard to apply, it is like glue. Its nice they added a couple colors but to raise the price by 25% is a shame. Its not worth it. Ive switched to guerlain, very similar, smooth product.

Tinted Moisturizer
I'm always a La Mer fan, all my skin care products are from La Mer, and I've been using them for 2+years. When I saw this new version of tinted moisturizer, I knew that I have to try it. At first I bought NO.2 shade, it looked great in the store, but when I got home, my face looked so tanned. Then I switched to NO.1 shade, which is the lightest, and I thought this would work. Oh boy, after applying it, I look like a clown, so white!
Besides the limited color options, the texture of this product is too sticky, it's really hard to apply it on, and if you use a brush, trust me, there will be lots of brush marks on your skin. The brush I use is perfect for any other liquid foundation though.
I'm Asian, skin tone is normal Asian shade, neither too tan or too white. Skin type is combination, age 24. If you are similar to me, then don't bother with this product.

OnThe Fence
I've only used this a few times and quite honestly am just not sure about it. Like many other reviewers I was a big fan of the SPF 15 tint. When it was discontinued I tried many other so-called tints but never found anything that I really liked. First the pros. Unlike some reviewers I did not find this thick and hard to spread. I found it to be very similar in consistency to the old tint. However, I have dry skin and always use a moisturizer in addition to the tint. I also found the color selection to be slightly better than the original. Depending on the season I usually had to mix the light and medium with the old tint. With this tint the light 02 is an okay fit for now. If I decide to keep this I may try the light/medium for summer months. I gave this 4 stars only because it is still better for me than any other skin tint out there. However, like any other cosmetic, it really is a question of what works best for you.

The Best Natural Foundation
This foundation is the best. I have tried many types, creams, lotions, BB creams, CC creams and serums. I found this foundation to go on smoothly, is lightweight, provides light coverage, can be layered to provide more coverage and is complimentary to my skin type. I did not experience any of the negatives of previous reviews and I am almost 70. Be sure to select the appropriate color, which I did at a local Nordstrom store. It seems light medium covers many skin types. I previously used Perricone No Foundation Foundation Serum and found LaMer far superior.
