The Renewal Oil Face Oil

Admittedly not the most cutting-edge of LM formulations: it contains some very basic oils, such as Rapeseed and Sunflower, whilst Eucalyptus oil makes an appearance about a third way down the ingredients list - fine in an occasional use product, but not one that I'd want to be using daily. Despite that, this product does have something of a cult following, so I decided to give it a try. I opted to skip the 'highlighting' tips and any others that involved day time application, as I avoid essential oils in daytime skincare. Instead I tried it right before bed, used alone and also just before a LM moisturizer. On its own it's pleasant enough to use: non-greasy, inoffensively fragranced and light in consistency. It sinks in and you only need to use a very small amount, 2 drops in my case. According to the directions you can also use it on dry areas of your body and even your hair, but at $245 for 1 oz (30ml) would I really want to? The oil itself spreads very well, due to its high silicone (Dimethicone - 2nd ingredient) content which carries it across the skin, instead of just sinking straight in. For this reason one bottle really would last you a long time. The product itself does separate somewhat so you must remember to shake before dispensing it. Both with and without the moisturizer I definitely noticed an overall brightening effect but very little in the way of additional hydration (possibly due to the somewhat drying effects of Dimethicone). The packaging, which is the same for retail as it is for the deluxe sample size - which I possess, is a clear glass bottle with a push-button dispenser. Visually wonderful to look at but not really practical as some of the ingredients (especially Vitamin C) are highly degradable upon contact to air and UV light. I have tried every oil that has hit the market. My skin is combination/oily. Dry in colder months. I am 58 yrs young. This is by far the best and last one I'll ever try, it's the keeper!! Absorbs perfectly and leaves no oily residue. My skin literally drinks it up and looks like healthy skin. Compared to the all the money I have spent looking for "My" oil...this is so worth it.

WOW! I have never written a review on facial products (even when I love them). However, This renewal oil is AMAZING! I received this oil 3 days ago and the first night I used it when I woke up that morning I was thinking to myself, hmmmm I must had really great sleep last night. Then I used it the next night and I know I didn't sleep well and when I woke up my face looked incredible. It has to be this oil, it;'s the only thing I've changed in my facial routine In about a year. I am 42 and I look 30! The flaws in my skin are perfected! My wrinkles around my eyes look like I just got botox the previous week. This renewal oil is beyond what I expected. DO not hesitate to buy this oil!!! I currently use La Mer, La Praire and Amore Pacific but this oil I will never go without. Thank you for making such a miracle product La Mer!!!!

This makes my face look smooth and silky like a newborns. Smells great. Not too oily or greasy afterwards, absorbs quickly. My only concern is the bottle and how much air will be exposed to the product on a daily basis, speeding up the degradation of the oil. I wish this was in a sealed container instead. Otherwise a midrange price (for this brand) and the one ounce will probably last a year or more.
