Must have for Change-of-Life years and more
If your going through your Change-of-Life this is a MUST HAVE to save your days & nights. I cannot live without it now 10 years later. I was huffing and puffing walking through Nordstrom with quite a few Nordstrom bags & the best ever Beauty Expert stopped me. She took my bags and placed them on the counter, & told me to sit down, & told me to close my eyes. I was taken a back for a moment then thought I had nothing to lose as the wet tissue was falling apart in my hands from sweat that I was desperately trying to wipe off my face and neck. I was so relieved as I felt an immediate cooling on my face and neck. The aroma is so relaxing which made me feel instantly cooler all all over. I just sat there and tears were falling down my face from frustration with hot sweats for the past few years. It's so difficult to shop in any store , as I have to rush in and out of stores fast before the embarrassing sweat would be pouring down my face and neck as I used to walk around like I just stepped out of a shower. I could not shop any longer, buying the greatest, newest stuff. Now..NOW ..NOW I can shop to my hearts content as long as I carry the La Mer 'The Mist.' Gone are the days of pieces of sopping wet Kleenex falling apart in my hands . All I have to do is take out the little travel bottle that I filled up and spritz my face & neck for an instant cooling & calming effect. I purchased 2 bottles, right there, the La Mer Cream and eye cream which never fail my skin, I still buy & use The Mist everyday now like an addiction. Summer months play havoc from having such a fair complexion, as most retail stores have very poor air flow. Not with The MIST! I can still shop all year long now & Look & feel fresh as I stroll looking for the newest La Mer Products & high end fashion. I am forever grateful to that top notched Beauty Expert, she knew exactly what I needed for many years to come, instant, long lasting refreshing skin.

Excuse me?
What on earth is everybody talking about? I got this since a MUA highly recommended it and I LOVE most other La Mer products. This isn’t even a “mist” first of all! This thing spits! It’s a “spray” and sprays really odd...you have to hold it father back (a foot) than usual and it spits droplets...no soft fine mist as you would be expecting for the price and name! It has a shaky ball looped around the spray pump tube and I have no clue why. Why not use that plastic instead for a fine mist design? It doesn’t show the ball in the photos at all. It has absolutely no remarkable scent either, and if you ask me I wouldn’t have known the difference if you sprayed me with pool water. No moisture whatsoever and I don’t see any tone or sheen. I would rather buy a basic twenty dollar toner or mist that does something. I’m having a hard time accepting this one at all. I really wanted a luxurious La Mer mist. I don’t understand.

Good, but...
I love the vast majority of La Mer's line, but I'm on the fence about The Mist. I purchased it to combat redness throughout the day, and it works fairly well. I've tried a lot of mists, including Chantecaille Pure Rosewater, Evian Brumitaseur and Avène Thermal Spring Water. I have to say that Avène is the winner as far as toning down redness and feeling refreshed, and it comes in a huge 11oz. can, as well as travel size cans.
This mist is good, but not for the price when compared to others. And I'm a huge La Mer fan. I feel so disloyal, but hey. One so-so product in a 20-year relationship won't break us.

great for sensitive skin
I have extremely sensitive skin , This spray not only makes my face fresh feeling it DOES NOT irritate at all . I have rosacea and I give this 10/10

Okay Toner
I’m not sure what I expected from this. I may just have high expectations of this brand simply because of the price point. But I’m not overly impressed with this product. I’m always adding & subtracting products from my skin care routine and I really want to find a great toner. I’ve been on the hunt for years and still haven’t found what i’m looking for. I was hoping this mist would be a winner. Unfortunately, I have to keep looking.
I should mention that the spray nozzle is problematic. It never seems to spray in the direction I am pointing at. And it’s hard to get one spray to cover your entire face, so I end up having to spray multiple times, which means using more content than I should have to. Not a fan of that.

Perfect for soothing the skin
I'm not sure if 'The Mist' belongs in the first aid kit or with the skin care regime. I use this on my children and grandchildren to soothe a sun burn. It gives instant relief and settles the redness.
It instantly hydrates so I give my face a quick spritz during the day in the winter. It revives skin and makeup. .And I use it as a soothing, hydrating toner.
It's a very fine mist so it lasts a long time. It has a light refreshing scent that disapates quickly.
This is a product that all of my family reach for. I recently discovered that my teenager took it out of the care package that was going to her older sister. What can I say? It's coveted.
