Cross Back One-Piece Swimsuit

I typically wear a size 6 in La Blanca one-piece suits, but this style is tight on my thighs, butt, and lower back. While I know they stretch out in water, and over time, I’m not sure about this one on me. I’m 5’5”, 134, 36x28x39 (34D) and have a shorter torso and longer inseam for my height. There’s less support over the lower stomach compared to some of the shirred styles. It’s comfortable and secure and I would pick this for playing in the ocean with my kids or body boarding. If I want to feel my best, I tend to pass this one over for one of my Trina Turk suits that have a more flattering leg opening and cut for my body and doesn’t accentuate back fat. Maybe an 8 would be better but I think that will make the top too big. The straps on the back take a lot of work to get them to lay properly and requires the help of my husband. I can see the appeal of this suit and I love the color, but it might not be right if you have bigger hips or carry fat on your back above your waistline. Still undecided. I think I’ll try the Island Goddess Twist to compare (the Island Goddess Lingerie fits me perfectly in a 6 but makes me look like I have a flat chest).

I tried on about 40 swimsuits in a single day at the mall and this was the only one that was comfortable AND flattering on my 5'6", 180 lb, 38C body. Plus size suits were a bit too big and most regular size suits are a bit too tight. The neckline is low cut enough to keep this one-piece from looking too "mom-ish" while it's double-lined design still slims areas that need slimming, including in the back. The crisscross straps add interest though it requires some effort to get them all adjusted neatly. The removable cups are great because they're perfectly shaped so that their outline doesn't show through when the suit gets wet. I'm very, very pleased and will be shopping for more La Blanca suits in the hopes that they fit my body type as well as this one did!

I'm 5'11" and 165 pounds. I got this in a size 8. It fits well. I have 34DDD and my boobs are definitely showing but they are not exploding out. So, it covers well without showing too much. I am not a fan of flaunting my cleavage but I feel comfortable in this. It's flattering and holds in my stomach that has been through having 2 children.

This is a great fitting swimsuit. If you don't like shopping for swimsuits, try this one. I bought it last year, and loved it so much that I bought another one this year. It fits my body like a glove, and is TTS. Order the same size swimsuit you always buy. It is extremely comfortable and slimming. My favorite feature is the back straps. I can't wear swimsuits that tie behind the neck because my hair gets caught or the tie seems to come undone. The back straps look sexy, youthful, unique, and are very supportive because I swim laps in this suit. I also love that there is thin padding in the bust for shaping and modesty when you come out of the pool. The shoulder width of the front straps is perfect. This suit gives me a nice, athletic look. The front V and the seaming below the bust are very flattering. I really appreciate all the details that went into this suit. It is a winner!

I loved this suit online, bought it to try it out. For a one-piece, this was very flattering - but only from the front. I found that no matter how I got the straps in the back to settle (which was irritating because they are going to move around and look silly throughout the time you wear the suit each time) you ultimately got the skin on your back pinched by the straps. This was not painful in any way, but it made my look like I had some back fat issues I didn't know I had. Thanks for the confidence boost, swim suit... had to return it, dang it! One side of the bust also kept pulling in a strange way that made it seem like it wasn't made all that well. This happened in different levels of severity across the 3 suit sizes I tried.
