L'Artiste Aneria Clog (Women)

Adorable shoe. There is a lot of cushioning inside, and the toebox is nice and wide (very comfortable for wide fore-feet.) For narrower heels, the adjustable, hidden-velcro strap takes care of any issues there. Note that the color (camel) is much lighter IRL than it is in the photos. But that's not the problem. The problem is that there is something very wrong with the insole. I have now tried THREE pairs of these clogs (from Nordstrom and another retailer), and each of them emits a loud POPPING sound with every step. It seems to have to do with air getting trapped and then being forced out when one steps down on the shoe. Whatever it is, it is a deal-breaker. It's really too bad.

These clogs are beautifully made with quality materials and attention to detail, but the fit was definitely strange. I wear a 10 and I ordered the 41 per sizing specification. They were too cramped, not comfortable at all. The M width was perfect. So, I ordered the 42, the next size up and my feet were sliding too much inside. Thinking the first pair were lemons, I reordered another 41, but the same problem occurred. Sadly, I had to return all 3 pair as they were lovely and would have made a nice addition to my wardrobe.
