High Rise Crop Wide Leg Pants

These pants are cute, but you have to keep in mind that the material will require ironing every single time you wash. Also, they’re not really that high waisted and that was definitely the look I was going for. I am between a size 4 and six because I have a small waist but curvy bottom. I should’ve gone with the four with these because as the day goes on, they get looser and looser and you can see my underwear. If you don’t want to wear low underwear and have these hit at your hips, showing your belly button, then definitely get a smaller size. If that’s what you’re going for then these are the pants for you.

I’m 5’6,” 113lbs, and short waisted with a full backside, so finding pants that fit nicely is always challenging. These fit well right off the rack and, as another reviewer noted, washed well. May be the linen in the fabric blend that gives a slight stretch, as I did notice they loosened throughout the day, but not so much that they became awkwardly loose-fitting. The feel and flow of the fabric is lovely, and was comfortable during the heat of the day. I like the flat front and that the single button doesn’t give a lot of bulk at the waistline. I’ll be buying at least one more in another color.

I love the Kut jeans but the pants have some factory defect issues. These had the seam come apart right under the zipper the first time I tried them when they arrived and another had a broken zipper. I had to take both to Nordstrom to fix the day after I received them. Also I did have to size down for Kut pants (as opposed to most Kut jeans) from a 6 to a 4. Otherwise fit is great.
