Chris High Waist Ankle Slim Straight Leg Pants

These are nice! The only thing was they ran a little lower waisted than I prefer, so I returned them, unfortunately. Ran shorter in the waist on me than the photo indicated but they might be perfectly fine on you. I liked the material and the leg was the perfect width. Very sorry to return them, actually. This sort of pant is hard to find.

I’ve tried on so many Jag pants in 2-wks I can say that almost all inseams are 30-32 (even for petites) and the rise are almost identical in regular and petite. I accidentally bought olive/camo green in a 14 regular and noticed the rise was perfect, so I ordered that color and the rich-milk-chocolate-brown in 12 and while a tiny bit fitted in the waist, they are both perfect. I’ve learned then based on being a 14p in other brands for the moment that translates to both a 12 regular and 12p in Jag for many styles of slacks and “jeans.” The top button on these and other jag pants do have a quality problem by making the button tab and button hole areas stretchy, not allowing the button to stay in place but letting the button pull and gap out when it’s not even needed. The color looks better in person and I tried to capture better color names in my description. If you are 5’6” and not short waisted, I can see you having a problem with the rise being too short. This is the perfect pant for people like me who by 30 or 32 Short (29-30 inseam) and want a petite rise that isn’t riding up your crotch. This pant is not a 27”/28” inseam.

Have been searching for this style of pants for a long while. The material is nice quality, size 8 good fit and perfect length. I haven't worn them, so am hoping they don't stretch too much during the day. The pants washed (cold water) and dried (air) perfectly. Wish these came in navy/dark blue.

These are cute pants and I have the Chris style in green from last year that I’ve loved so decided to try the updated version in nutmeg. The only difference in the style from last year is the tapered cuff is the same material as the pant material where as last year the cuff is a different material. I will say I like the old version better but the overall fit is the same so I appreciated that. The only reason I took a star off my rating is because the button was on the pants when I tried them on but the thread was not actually sew tightly so the bottom fell off as I was taking them off. Not what you’d expect from a pair of pants that had an original price of $94! I could easily sew it myself but I am altering some other pants I’ve purchased recently from Nordstrom so I took these along with me to have the button attached hopefully better neater than I would do myself. KUT needs to up their quality control because I see another reviewer had the same issue.
