Small Chelsea Embellished Hobo Bag

I am a huge fan of Kurt Geiger London and have more than a dozen KG purses and countless accessories and shoes. This purse is a showstopper, and it looks as great in person as online. Here's the downside--the beads and chain hardware are so heavy that it weighs almost three pounds with nothing in it. I also noticed some of the prongs on the jewels were up, which means losing stones is likely if you don't pay close attention. It does come with a handful of replacement stones, but any careless move could cause more than a few to come off. I have had heavy leather purses with metal hardware and studs, but those hold up because there wasn't a risk of items breaking off. For a spring/summer purse, this one is too risky. Sadly, it is going back.

The bag itself is really beautiful and I can’t wait to style it. It is heavy though- I’m talking it has to wait at least 3 or 4 pounds. I’m a little upset because I think I received a display bag. There’s a small dirt mark in two places, and the tag that should be on the bag was thrown inside the bag and has a handwritten price on it. Plus the bag wasn’t packaged properly. It was just thrown into a large clear bag and not wrapped for protection. Luckily none of the pieces came off in transit. Overall, outside of the way it arrived, the bag itself is nice.
