Kensington Quilted Leather Shoulder Bag

I was very excited to order this as an early Christmas present for myself. I read all the reviews and checked pictures on multiple sites. I was sure this would be perfect for me. However, upon receiving it, I found that although the leather looks and feels smooth and buttery, it somehow seems cheap. It feels thin and seems like it would scratch easily, and show wrinkles. I might have been able to put up with that because it is a cute style at a good price point, but the deal breaker is how the chain is attached. The online pictures didn’t really show how it is attached. The chain not only goes through the holes on the top flap of the bag, but also through the middle divider inside the purse. (See attached pics) It makes it inconvenient to put items such as a planner or mini tablet in the back section of the purse. The purse is also very boxy, especially when worn crossbody. Similar purses (Tory Burch or Chanel) do not look this boxy. Also, the little bird head hardware was one of the reasons I bought this, but in person it doesn’t look as good. Overall this is a decent purse at a good price point, and if the reasons I returned it don’t bother you, then go for it! But don’t say I didn’t warn you. :)

To be quite honest, this bag was a complete STEAL! Especially for the price and the look. It adds a touch of luxury to your outfit. To me, this bag is worth more than the actual price! The chains are lovely. Everything about the bag is gorgeous. If you’re like me and can’t afford an actual Chanel bag yet, no need to worry! Kurt Geiger’s got your back! Love love love my bag. You won’t be wasting your money!

Pro: This bag is very well made and can be used as an everyday purse. It looks incredibly chic if you’re wearing a casual outfit or very fancy if you’re dressed up. I love the eagle detail, I’ve gotten many compliments on it. Con: The handle straps are make it somewhat hard to store your things inside, the flap doesn’t close as easy

Finally ordered this bag in red after eyeing for months. It is amazing for the price and gives a luxury look with an affordable price. The leather is soft and the bag is light weight even when full. Perfect length on shoulder or crossbody style. I saw some negative reviews with people comparing to Chanel or more expensive brands. This bag is perfect for the price point.
