Mindo Chelsea Bootie (Women)

I wanted these so bad for so long and I finally got them. They do run about 1/2 size big, but are perfect otherwise. I'm so upset.. after 2 weeks of sporadic wear, the rubber sole is un-gluing from the kork sole. Thanks goodness Nordstrom will let me return them. After some research, I saw the same issue in the reviews on the Kork-ease site.

I waited about a year to pull the trigger and buy these boots and was so excited when I finally got them. The boots are beautiful and the leather is great quality. I wore them three times all around the city and did not have any problems- I'm talking 5+ miles each day and I forgot I was wearing shoes. I will say the toe felt a bit narrow initially, but stretched out comfortably by the next time I put them on. Here is the BIG ISSUE: Despite my excitement and the beauty of these boots- I have to return them. The "stacked heel" is indeed a plastic block with a cork-like faux wood glued around it. After wearing these boots three times, whatever it is that encases the plastic heel is peeling off and exposing the plastic heel. I am so disappointed and can't believe that this is the quality offered for a $200 pair of boots.

I'm a solid 8.5 in closed toed shoes, but with boots I often have to order a half size up in order to accommodate my socks. Initially I ordered a size 9, but even with socks found my heels to slip when I walk, so I returned and ordered an 8.5 which fit just right with my socks. I love these because they're not too dressy to wear with jeans and a tshirt or plaid shirt.

Cute, comfy, and true to size. I have a wide foot and initially ordered half a size up. Those were way too big so I ordered my usual size. The ankle/where you slip your foot into the shoe IS narrow and makes it a little difficult to put them on initially but, overall, they are true to size. Holding onto the little loop in the back makes it so much easier to slip into them. Happy to know that I can even wear socks with these cuties.

I wanted to love these boots. They're extremely comfortable right out of the box. The leather is beautiful and soft. They're easy to pull on because of the elastic opening, but don't lose their shape. Sadly, I found that the heel of the boot was very wide and my foot would slide around from side to side. I don't have particularly wide feet, either. I'm sad to have to return them because other than the wide heel, they're perfect. For the sake of anyone on the fence about what size to order: I am usually a 9 or 9.5 and heeded the advice of others who suggested to go down half a size. The 9 fit perfectly length-wise.
