perfectly broken in within minutes!
These softened and formed to my foot so quickly! The leather straps are very sturdy and seemed like they might be stiff and take a while to soften, but they were so comfortable within less than an hour. No blisters or hot spots after the first day wearing. Got so many compliments, everyone wanted to know the brand and where I got them, and if they were comfortable. The answer to the last question is YES!! They are SO comfortable. And I found them just in time for a trip to Europe. I’m confident they will be great for walking miles and miles. The natural rubber bottom feels shock absorbent and my feet feel so stable because of the toe strap. These are a hardy pair of shoes! I ordered the natural leather and the brown and decided to keep the brown, both colors were gorgeous and it was hard to pick. Since the natural is (I think) untreated I thought they might darken in the sun, making them the color of the brown ones eventually anyway. I’m hoping the brown ones don’t darken at all because they are the perfect shade of tan just the way they are. Also, these look waaaaay better in person on a foot than they do in the photos. I almost didn’t get them because I thought they were too ugly, I wanted practical shoes but wanted style too. These looked so comfortable that I had to try them. I’m so happy I did!! I don’t just tolerate the way they look, I actually think they look beautiful on! I’m 30 years old and I think they don’t look like grandma shoes AT ALL! And one person that complimented them was a 21 year old. I’m usually an 8, occasionally a 7.5, I went with the 8 and they fit great. I have about a quarter inch of extra room all around my foot print, but the back strap is secure. Also, I can slip these on and off without unbuckling because of the hidden goring. I just can’t say enough good things about these!

Missing supportive footbed
I own a different pair of Kork-Ease sandals that I absolutely love due to the footbed having great support. I was hoping for the same with this sandal but the footbed is flat and offers not support. I really like the style but am afraid the lack of support would limit my use of them. Had to return.

Sadly had to return
These are beautifully made sandals. Unfortunately I had to send them back. They were very narrow and much to tight across my foot. And I did not think they would loosen up much. They also didn’t have much arch support for the price. I’m a 7.5-8 and ordered the eight. I got the blue and it was a nice deep color without being navy which makes it much more versatile.

Nice quality but large
Very well made, but this is a clunky sandal. It runs big and wide and it's heavy. Maybe better for small feet.

Kork-Ease Canoe Sandal in Natural
Really nice shoes - the quality I expect from Kork-Ease. Pretty comfortable, though I expect there'd be some breaking-in period initially. Love the natural leather color, and the 10 fit my size 10.5 feet perfectly. Only sent them back because they had a clunkier look than I want, and at my size, I'm sensitive to that! Lovely sandals, though, and I'm really sorry I didn't like the look of them on me better. (PS: In grading the fit below, while the 10 was a great fit for me, I'm actually a 10.5, so I wonder if I should note that they run big for the benefit of other people?)

This is the perfect everyday sandal for summer. The pale leather goes with anything, and they’re very comfortable. The description said go up if you’re between sizes, but the 8 is huge on me. Returning for the size 7.
