What it is: An all-natural, vegan, aluminum- and baking soda-free deodorant with activated charcoal to help absorb sweat and odor-causing bacteria.

What it does: This naturally based, nonsticky deodorant helps outlast your longest days, leaving you smelling like fresh coconut milk. Sage oil and a combination of plant-based enzymes aid in sweat- and odor-reduction while simultaneously helping to break down odor-causing bacteria. A blend of coconut oil and coconut water helps repair, moisturize and soothe skin. Activated charcoal is highly absorbent of sweat and bacteria and acts as a magnet to draw out toxins from your pores. This deodorant glides on smoothly.
How to use: Apply to your underarms daily. If you're new to clean deodorants, please note there might be a short detox period that may last 2–4 weeks.

Glad I took a chance on Kopari
I haven't needed or used deodorant in several years - until now. In the past, as long as I showered after exercising, I was totally fine without any type of deodorant. That changed this past year and the it was primarily an issue that occurred during the night while sleeping. When the issue persisted, I decided to re-introduce deodorant after showering. The first one I tried was Kopari Natural Coconut Charcoal Deodorant and fortunately, it has been the perfect choice. Works like a charm and glides on comfortably. I don't mind a little oily feel to it. I've been educated by my aesthetician about the wonderful attributes of oil on your skin so I accept this as a benefit which keeps my underarm skin healthy.
Also, even if I use this after a morning shower, it's effective all through the day, night and until my next shower the following day (even if that next shower is after an evening workout).

I was so surprised this brand is so highly rated. I have used other natural brands before and this one is more expensive and caused itching and irritation. I tried to hang in there but I was becoming red and inflamed. It feels wet and uncomfortable on and the smell is...well...boring. it also doesn’t work as well as other all natural brands. Nope, nope, nope. Fail. It’s going back.

Good for cutting down on antiperspirant
I've been experimenting with natural deodorant for the last 2 years. I have not had much luck. This is stuff is pretty good. I still need to use antiperspirant after my shower, but I can use this the days after. I tried the hemp on and it was terrible I was stinky within an hour every time I used it. This one works well for filling in the gap between antiperspirants. Unfortunately, it doesn't work for me if I use it alone. The smell is nice and subtle. I wish it was stronger because I do like strong smelling deodorants.

I purchased the fragrance free version and the only downside is that although the roll on looks clear, it does have a small amount of "white" residue, but not anywhere near the amount an anti perspiration deodorant has. Does not feel sticky or wet, that is a plus. The amount of body odor varies for everyone and is tied into diet and activity, so for me, I did not have any BO all day, but that goes for the days I'm totally lounging and not sweating. Once the sweat comes, this controls the BO, I'd say about 80%, by the end day the pits need washing. I'd buy it again, but I want a very light scent and I don't know which one to choose.

Beach Scent
I have been using the regular Kopari deodorant for years as it does work reasonably well, and I am fine with its scent. Trying this Beach variety, I was hoping for more of a coconut vibe, but to my nose, the smell is really annoyingly cloying, artificial and just downright unpleasant. So I will not repurchase this scent, but continue using the regular Kopari.
