Golden Aura Body Oil

This oil does not dry down quickly. Give yourself 1-2 hours between slathering this on and getting dressed or you’ll be sliding all over the place. I shower in the morning/afternoon before work and found I could only use it on my days off because the oil didn’t dry/absorb in time. I tried applying it to dry and wet skin; there wasn’t a noticeable difference. The 3.3 oz bottle doesn’t last long. I probably got 12 applications from one bottle, using it head to toe. The gold flakes are pretty but gimmicky. The scent (smoky vanilla cupcake?) is nice but too faint. While the oil made my skin look moisturized and tan, the mess and time isn’t worth it. Try something else.

I got a mini of this in a space nk gift with purchase beauty icons edit. To me an oil is an oil, I'd really only buy one for a scent that I loved, it's not an area of skincare I think is worth investing in... just a nice treat if you like it. But I find the inclusion of gold in any product to be pure marketing fluff and it does make me side eye any company claiming it's beneficial.

I love this body oil, it's perfect me. I don't usually like the feel of oils but this one isn't greasy and feels super nice on the skin. I love the soft sheen/glow that it leaves on the skin. There's a very subtle vanilla smell to the oil which is perfect as its not too overpowering however I have read that the product doesn't smell too great after a shirt time once its opened so I'd love to be able to buy smaller bottles so that I use them up before they go off.
