Embellished Midi Dress with Jacket

I usually wear a size 8 petite dress as I am 5'2" and about 125 lbs., so I purchased this dress in Medium. I could have worn the Small, but I don't like anything tight on me and the Medium gave me the freedom to move easily. Every dress I tried on prior to this one for my daughter's wedding made me look short and chubby. And I did not want a sleeveless dress. This dress really flows like silk. It has a lot of interesting detail in terms of texture and beadwork. The dress hid a multitude of sins and the jacket has a tiny button in the front to add a nice waistline effect if you button it. The color is a teal green sea glass color with a subtle periwinkle blue ombre toward the hem. Very comfortable and lightweight too! I did not need any foundation garments to cinch trouble areas and I did not need a slip. It does hang, but in comparison to the heavy beaded dresses available, it was so comfortable. And it already has that Komarov "wrinkle" so it packed easily and I never had to worry about ironing! I just popped it on and danced the night away. Many compliments.
