What it does: Formulated with light-diffusing minerals to brighten and minimize pores, this lightweight serum foundation contains weightless skin-conditioning emollients that improve skin's hydration and health for a flawless and comfortable complexion. It nourishes with minerals from the deep waters of Bretagne, and contains soft-focus pigments to brighten while reducing the appearance of pores and discolorations. It features a signature blend of jojoba, olive and squalane oils and shea butter to leave skin soft and supple.
How to use: Prep skin with a base to create a smooth canvas. Apply foundation in sheer, buildable layers. Pat the foundation into the skin at all angles to blur lines and pores. Allow each layer to set before the next layer is applied. Finish with powder if desired.

I have tried MANY foundations, the Cle De Peau is my 2nd favorite, but all have texture at the end of the night. I am very conscious of the way foundation sits and wears, almost all (including BB/CC creams) sit way too heavy for my taste. This foundation is amazing, it sits like a light moisturizer, is the only foundation to truly have NO texture whatsoever, and it feels amazing on the skin. I love all the benefits this has for your skin too. It’s a nice tinted look to the skin, kind of perfecting, so if you’re the type to like fully done matte high coverage, this absolutely isn’t for you. Those of us who prefer a nice clean look will love this, it really is the best. It wears nicely throughout the evening, I’ve worn it through parties till the next morning, banquets, to the beach, and everywhere in between and nothing seems to affect it. I’ve lived in humid climates, Phoenix AZ, and California and it wears well in all climates.

Nice coverage
Very nice consistency and coverage. Broke up after 4 hours (the reason for the lower rating). Make work better for someone who does not have dry skin.

Best Foundation for Aging Skin
I bought this foundation after reading about it online. I’m inn my 70’s with my share of wrinkles, discoloration from spending time in the sun when I was young, and fine broken capillaries due to my English/Irish heritage. I love it. It doesn’t creep into my wrinkles the way most foundations do at this stage of my life. Coverage is good and is easy to build where it’s needed. I use my fingers to apply, It has a nice finish, not matte but not shiny and I don’t look “made up,” I look like a better version of myself. I do lightly use the Koh Gen Do setting powder as well. Great combination. I would love a bit more shade offerings,

Consistent Perfect Performance
Lost count, this is my 4th or 5th bottle of aqua foundation. There is nothing else like it. The smallest amount gives excellent coverage, blends beautifully with my skin tone, lasts all day, and gives a very natural soft glow. Have I tried other luxury brands? Yeah, I'm old, I've tried everything. This is the HG.
