Luna Lace A-Line Dress

I found the sizing on this dress very frustrating. I originally purchased a 3X - I’m a 24/26 in most brands - and I could not get it over my shoulders. I exchanged it for the 5X, and it hung off my body like a sack. The horizontal detail around the waist was extremely unflattering in the bigger size. Other than that, this dress is quite beautiful. The lace sleeves were stretchy enough to get over my arms no problem, and the lace was beautiful.

I was so excited to find a grey dress-apparently, they are hard to find, unless you want a T-shirt dress for play. The fit was perfect-it made me look and feel skinny! However, the weird tan panel under the lace in the front, didn’t match my skin tone. I’m glad it didn’t match me, as I would not want to be that color! What a shame, please pass on to the designer, to leave the weird tan pantyhose color lining out of all future dresses. I had to return-sadly.

After reading the reviews I ordered a 2X and a 3X just to try the sizes. I normally wear a 16 or 18, and the 3X definitely was more comfortable. Runs small like everyone mentioned. I will say it is very good quality but the dress is extremely heavy and is quite long.. I am short only about 5'2" but this came to mid-shin. I didn't fall in love with the dress, so ill be returning them.

I ordered this dress in my regular size and in the next larger size after reading reviews. There wasn't much difference in the fit except for a little more give in the sleeves in the larger size, but they were still a bit tight. Some reviewers didn't like the color of the "neutral" lining, but I didn't find it objectionable. The fit was flattering, and the fabric was nice, but I found a different Kiyonna lace dress that I preferred.
