I love to layer a clear gloss on top of the liner and it literally lasts all day, and I’ve gotten a ton of compliments on it. Love the packaging too, it’s super chic!

Difficult to apply
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first time trying this brand. Unfortunately, it's not what I expected. The color of the lip pencil is pretty. The packaging and labels are cool, but the product is dry and difficult to apply and spread. The texture is hard and flaky. It's also difficult to remove, almost like a stain. I would like to try another product from this brand, to give them another chance.

We’re so glad you liked the "Couture" packaging and the pretty shade of our Kiss Shaper Lip Liner, but we are truly sorry to hear that the formula felt dry, flaky, and difficult to apply. Because this liner is designed for 12-hour "second-skin" wear, it is formulated to set very quickly into a transfer-resistant matte finish, which can sometimes feel "tuggy" or dry if applied over un-prepped lips. To ensure a smoother glide, try a gentle lip exfoliation followed by a non-greasy balm (like our Top Secrets Lip Mailer) 10 minutes before lining. For removal, we recommend an oil-based cleanser or a bi-phase makeup remover to gently dissolve the long-wear pigments without scrubbing. We would love for you to give YSL another chance and many of our users who prefer a creamier, more "melt-on" feel absolutely love our Candy Glaze Lip Gloss Stick. We truly appreciate your feedback and will be sharing your insights with our product development team!

YSL does it again.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this color. The formula is definitely long wear. I enjoy the finish and smell. It’s a luxury lip liner the only drawback is I wish it were a twist up. Overall the crayon sharpens really nicely, the pencil is heavy doesn’t feel cheap at all. The texture is comfortable and this is just the liner all over the lips. Add a gloss & you can skip lipstick altogether.

So creamy and long lasting!

While the product itself is super long lasting, its also really simple to remove. I love the pigmentation. A single passthrough gives you a lot of color payoff! Great product.

Too bright but awesome longevity
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The formula is fantastic, it seriously doesn’t budge and was difficult to get off even with a makeup wipe. I wish the color was less bright. Based on the name Undressed Pink, I thought it would be more natural but is actually quite bright and warm. Not wearable shade for me unfortunately, but the lasting power stands out compared to most other lip liners that melt off as soon as you apply lip balm on top or wear it longer than 20 minutes. This one is here on your lips to stay! Application is very smooth and pencil can be sharpened as you like. Packaging isn’t as premium as I’d expect a YSL product to be, but the product itself is what stands out.

Nice lip liner
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've recently started wearing lip liner more. The YSL Kiss Shaper applies smoothly and is build able. It is able to be smudged if needed and wears away evenly. I like that the outside color of the pencil is the same as the product. The liner didn't seem to last too long on me, and needed to be reapplied throughout the day.

Luxury pencil Liner
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great liner that reminds me of the charlotte tilbury pillow talk. It’s super buttery, but lasts most of the night. I had to reapply once, but mostly because I was wearing bc an oil gloss with it. It uses a normal sharpener to get a Sharp tip. Super easy feel, and packs into my small handbag easily.
